I am not sure if any of you have read the book "Nhập môn toán học tài chính" by Trần Hùng Thao, NXBKH&KT. I find this is a good book and we should try to cover other aspects of QF that the book doesn't cover (such as more examples (especially trading strategies) as Ha Nguyen has pointed out)
I found derivative pricing has been the primal focus when people talk about QF. This shouldn't be the impression that Vietnamese students have on QF since 1) derivatives are not yet available in VNese market 2) it is a tough and a multiprinciple subject that requires a lot of time to understand thorouwly. btw, the book also has a small dictionary in the appendix that we could start on íntead of trying to define all the terminology from scratch. |
