I'm thinking of splitting the union into 2 stages:

- Meet and have fun in Orange County and surrounding (Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, etc.); meet VEF and local guys some evening (in the hotel's lobby, the same as for the VEF gala, maybe): the theme of the meeting will be Q&A: some brief introduction followed by questions. If so, we'll need some (senior) quant(s) in the industry to answer the questions accurately. Anh Hoang, can you join this?

- Road trip: Las Vegas/Grand Canyon -> Palm Springs/Palm Desert -> Orange County or Orange County -> Palm Springs/Palm Desert -> Las Vegas/Grand Canyon -> back to Orange County or whatever you brainstorm.

Members can join either of the 2 or both. I brainstormed just to kick it off. Other inputs are of course much appreciated.

And let's see if we can kidnap any sponsor .

Hi all,

This is a long due post . Two time slots (Jan 3,4 - we don't need to use all of them though) has been secured for us to discuss and networking (giao lưu) with VEF Fellows. Please brainstorm how to best use our allocated time (Q&A, presentation...).

In addition, VEF Annual Conference has Scientific Sessions organized by subjects. It's a good ideas for us to tour several sessions (such as Math, Physics, ECE, and CS) and have in-depth technical discussions with VEF Fellows. If you want to join, please indicate the session you are interested in.
