Mixed Distributions
Deers get hit at a rate of 20 per day (Poisson process with rate 20). The time when a deer is hit to when rangers arrive to collect her follows an exponetial distribution with a mean of 7 (days). Calculate the expected number of deers collected by rangers in 10 days.
